Edit Inventory Quantities
Learn how to update stock levels in your inventory.
To Update Stock Levels
- Locate the product in the Inventory table
- Click Actions (⋮) > Edit Details
- The Edit Dialog opens showing current information
- Update the fields you want to change:
- Add Stock: Enter quantity to add to current stock
- Reduce Stock: Enter quantity to subtract (for spoilage, damage, etc.)
- Set New Quantity: Directly set the exact stock level
- The current stock count is displayed below for reference
- Adjust the reorder level if needed
- Click Update
When to Edit Inventory
- After receiving orders from headquarters (increase stock)
- After sales to customers (decrease stock)
- During physical inventory counts (reconcile differences)
- When products are damaged or expired (reduce stock)
- When adjusting reorder thresholds
